Tom of Irvine, California, installed a Monster Exhaust on an ’06 Dodge Power Wagon with a 5.7L HEMI Magnum V-8

I am not normally in the habit of writing letters to companies regarding their products and services, unless there is an extraordinary reason. These reasons are all too often extraordinarily bad reasons. That, however, is not the case in this instance.

I have a 2006 Dodge Power Wagon, and because it is a low production vehicle and fairly new to the market, aftermarket accessories can be difficult to find. After looking at your web site I called to ask a question. I had the good fortune to speak with one of your “Power Consultants” by the name of Richard Norman.

He too was unsure if your Monster Exhaust for the 2005 would fit on my 2006. He put me on hold and checked with your technical staff. Then he came back with a question for me. He asked if I would be willing to have one of your engineers install the system on my truck so they could make any adjustments to the fit if needed. Needless to say I was a little surprised. But I made an appointment.

Arriving at your shop I was greeted by Dain (sorry I didn’t get his last name). We talked for a few minutes and then he showed me to your customer lounge and said he would be back to get me when he was done. While waiting I enjoyed a snack and a soft drink and used the computer to check e-mails and look up a phone number and watched a little TV. (Just like home!)

And just as promised Dain came back and took me to see my improved truck. Then he went above and beyond and gave me a guided tour of your amazing facility. I was impressed and honored to get a behind the scenes look at where my new exhaust system came from. I was very impressed by what I saw and felt like a kid on a field trip. Having worked in an aircraft machine shop and understanding what it takes to run a large manufacturing and engineering operation, I was blown away by the high level of organization and professionalism that I saw in every phase of your operation.

Please extend my thanks to Richard and Dain for the excellent service and thank you for the great products and years of dedication to performance.

I also want to tell you that after my experience with your company I will be highly recommending your products and relating my impression of your company whenever possible.

(I already have due to people seeing the decals on the side of the truck)!
