built a special jig to keep the Speedway Engineering Track-Nine 9” Ford-style
rearend housing straight while its attachment brackets were being welded
to it.

experimental 4-disc carbon/carbon clutch
assembly will be tested to see if it will
withstand the enormous torque of Banks’ Sidewinder
D-Max Type-R power output, as well as withstand
24 hours of severe racing conditions.
