Online Copywriter

Will write copy for bankspower.com website, banks blog, enthusiast forums and support Banks' wholesale/dealer online marketing efforts. Assist Offline Copywriter with production of copy for magazine ads, editorial, product catalogues, newsletters, press releases, and TV/Radio commercials.

Requires experience writing very technical online copy. Ideal candidate will be an automotive enthusiast that understands, and can passionately write about, automotive technology and aftermarket power equipment. Thorough understanding of web technology and terminology required. Must have 5 years experience as an online copywriter, preferably in the automotive industry. CAD Design Engineer

We are currently seeking a full time CAD Design Engineer/Mechanical Engineer to create drawings and solid models, and design mechanical and electromechanical components for automotive performance products and systems.

Successful candidate will have BSME degree and 2-3 years experience drafting, designing and developing mechanical components and systems, writing bills of material, completing engineering documents and developing technical product manuals. EE Hardware

Summary: Experience in developing new, and enhance existing electronic engine and vehicle control systems. Responsibilities will include electronic design, PCB board layout and assembly, and installation and testing of electronic prototypes. Assist in the development of technical product installation manuals, owner's manuals, and write technical reports.

Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering (BSEE), and a minimum 5 years hands-on experience in electronic design engineering. Must have 3-5 years experience in PCB design, layout and assembly. Automotive after-market experience and experience with Orcad software desired. Must be able to operate data acquisition equipment, oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, logic analyzers, function generators, and power hand tools.

Senior Electronics Engineering Technician

Layout, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify developmental electronics components, parts, equipment, and systems.

Will troubleshoot/diagnose electronic circuitry down to the component level using test equipment (oscilloscopes, VOMs, signal generators), schematic circuit diagrams and component data sheets. Repair diagnosed circuitry using thru-hole and SMD (surface-mount-device) re-work/soldering equipment and observing industry-standard ESD-preventive procedures.

Analyze manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to locate and define electrical/electronic signals in vehicles. Utilize test equipment including oscilloscope and VOM for characterizing and documenting those same electrical/electronic signals.

Design, document (using Altium/Protel and/or OrCAD CAD software), assemble and test electrical wiring harnesses for prototype and production electronic products.

Generate schematic diagrams and perform printed circuit board (PCB) layouts of prototype and production electronic designs using Altium/Protel and/or OrCAD CAD software.

Set up standard test apparatus or devise test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests used to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production model; analyze and interpret test data.

Assemble experimental circuitry (breadboard) or complete prototype model. Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.

Perform installation of prototypes, pre-production systems and sub-systems for evaluation. Check functioning of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.

Write technical reports and develop charts, graphs, and schematics to describe and illustrate system's operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations.

Adjust, calibrate, align, and modify circuitry and components and record effects on unit performance using data logging equipment.

Discuss layout and assembly procedures with Engineers to clarify design details and functional criteria of electronic units.

Organize, maintain and track stock levels of prototype parts inventory.

AA degree in electronics preferred, and a minimum of 3 years experience as an Electronics Technician; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency with Altium/Protel and/or OrCAD CAD software required. Must be proficient with MS Office and other office equipment. Must be able to use power hand tools such as soldering irons, wire/connectors, crimpers, drills.

Graphics/Creative Group Manager

Seeking a highly motivated, creative, versatile and energetic designer experienced in building corporate brand through print and web marketing strategies. Will manage, plan, and coordinate the activities and staff in the Graphics/Creative Group. Define, design, implement and support all marketing materials including print ads, brochures, fliers, catalogs, newsletters, product manuals, invitations, press kits, logos, PowerPoint presentations, product packaging, tradeshow and in-store display graphics. Provide creative direction of website and email marketing campaigns, coordinate production with print/press vendors, oversee organization and security of digital assets, and provide graphic design support for dealer and other department needs.

Shipping Lead

Will oversee, direct and coordinate the activities and staff in the shipping department, assist the Warehouse Manager in issuing written and oral instructions; delegating all work assignments. Evaluate work for accuracy, timeliness, completion, and conformance to policies and procedures. Experience in the preparation and inspect outgoing shipments; compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items for outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, purchase orders, or other records.

Requires 3-5 years previous lead or supervisory experience in a shipping department, ability to operate forklift, and working knowledge of UPS shipping methods, LTL, rate quotes, and LTL shipment tracking.

Sr. Buyer/Planner

Coordinate all activities related to procurement of mechanical, electrical and raw materials beginning with intent to purchase through delivery including negotiations of cost by performing the following duties.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Review requisitions, MRP exception reports and determine method of procurement, generate purchase orders and determine best method of delivery
  • MRP and ERP reporting, inventory management, PPAPs and 1st article submission
  • Act as liaison between company and suppliers, source and evaluate suppliers. Evaluate and maintain accurate and detailed vendor lead times
  • Strong background in negotiations with vendors related to fair market pricing, price increases and contract negotiations
  • Award bids to selected vendor(s) and notify non- selected vendors
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, defective materials, vendor returns, payment discrepancies and denials

Requires Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, and minimum three years purchasing and material planning experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet navigation, and have a good working knowledge of MRP. Macola accounting software experience preferred.
