"I own a 2000 Ford PSD. Prior to the installation of the Banks Stinger-Plus system, the engine made approx 16 1/2 psi of boost. After the installation the boost increased to 23 psi. After learning about the Power Elbow, I just couldn’t install the Quick-Turbo and high-boost compressor wheel without it. The engine now makes almost 27 psi of boost and the feel is incredible! I bought my 2003 Excursion Limited 4x4 with every intention of juicing it up a bit. With all of my other trucks, I did it all wrong—I would lift them or change wheels and tires first, forgetting about the power. This time, I contacted Banks Power first. Jeff Morris, my power consultant, was very helpful in my decision to purchase the Stinger Plus. I thought about installing it myself, but with Banks and all of their knowledge only an hour away, I decided to let them turn the wrenches.

I am absolutely thrilled with the increased pulling power. The difference in pulling the Baker grade coming into Las Vegas on the 15 is absolutely awe-inspiring. I tow a 12,000 lb 5th wheel, and I can now pull the grade about 20 miles an hour faster, with less rpm and engine temperature. My fuel efficiency has improved about 14% as well. "After I installed Banks PowerPack® and Banks Brake, I was completely astonished. I thought the rear tires were going to break loose from the second to third gearshift!

Being the power junkie that I am, I needed to see if the power gains were as high as you advertised. Jim Hess, the owner of Midway Truck Service in Frystown, PA agreed to let me put my truck on his SuperFlow dynamometer. I rode in the truck with him during the run to get the complete experience. Early in the run, I could see the look of amazement on Jim's face as the numbers start to come up: 240, 250, 260 hp at the rear wheels. Jim has 25 years of experience running trucks on his dyno.
