The stock exhaust tubing measures a mere 3.5" on the outside, compared to the Monster Exhaust's massive 5" outer diameter as such the Banks system offers a 110% greater flow area than stock.
With a rocket nozzle-like tip, exhaust gasses are literally sucked out of the end of the exhaust, reducing back pressure all they back up to the turbo inlet.
The stock exhaust hides a 2.44" nozzle further necking down the system and pinching exhaust flow at the end.
With a 4.87" internal diameter, the Banks Monster Exhausts has almost 4x the flow area vs stock!
This results in 82% less backpressure, leading to more power, throttle response, and increased fuel economy.
The large 6.5"x7.5" Tip also provides a reduction in exhaust temperature two feet behind the tip during regen.
Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) are cleaned through regeneration in which scorching exhaust gas temperatures can last up to 20 minutes while driving. The Monster Exhaust massive over sized tip is aimed out to the side of the truck.
This allows ambient air to diffuse the heated gas, eliminating the risk of melting a trailer, which has been reported by many owners.

"Banks Monster Exhaust does more than just improve aesthetics, though the clean look and deeper exhaust note for my Tremor made this project worth the time and money invested. Scott, the owner of Performance Kote in Orlando, ceramic coated Banks’ pipes and the wide band clamps (upgraded to form a stronger joint) in contrasting shades/textures for both thermal and rust protection as well as visual appeal. Install was straightforward, using the Banks’ gasket and hi-temp anti seize on the sensor and stud threads. Throttle response and turbo spool are noticeably improved on the 2024 6. 7 HO. Boost tubes may be next."
"Great exhaust! Seems well built fits as it should. I would recommend setting up completely before cutting just as a precaution. Now a big increase in sound, noticed a slightly deeper tone and slight increase in performance. That being said, it’s only the filter back (would be a lot different if filter out and deleted) still under warranty and illegal so that’s that."
