"This is a great aftermarket intake for my 2000 Dodge RAM 2500 Cummins 5. 9. When I started looking around at options, I found that pretty much all of the competition has design issues that limit air flow. The Banks Ram-Air is very easy to install, and greatly improves the airflow to the engine. I also upgraded the intake elbow with the "Banks Monster Ram" elbow. Both of these upgrades are a great improvement from the stock intake components."

"Honestly did expect the results i ended up getting. I expected a better throttle response, got that so likely an increase in power. What i didnt expect was an average of 50 to 75 degrees in EGT drop. My truck runs hot so that was a huge bonus for me. Highly recommend for a single turbo moderate built engine. I make roughly 375 to 400 horsepower (tow truck)."

- This particular filter element is measured at a 99.21 efficiency rating which meets or exceeds our competitors. We do not have the stock filtration data as the OE filter has changed a few times since the truck was manufactured.
- why will it not work with banks exhaust brake? is there an alternative option?
- Due to the increased size of the Banks Ram Air intake box, it occupy part of the space the exhaust brake sits in.
