"Heys guys super stoked on the system the throttle response is so much better! The small banks cover for the outside of the box had a small crack and when I installed it the cover cracked even more with some corner pieces coming off and I just don’t want a air leak how can I go about getting that small cover replaced?"
"Removal instructions good, install instructions could be a little more thorough, stock wire harness has a hard time reaching to plug into the ram air actuator as well as the mass air flow. Also the plastic window on my unit has gaps not sure if it’s supposed to be like that or…? My stock one was womped out so obviously this one is better I think, only thing I would change is make it easier to remove the filter for cleaning or replacing gonna have to remove pain in the ass actuator connector to remove the air box stock one the filter swap was monkey proof"
"I installed the Banks Ram Air filter two weeks ago on my 2015, Ram 6.7. I know the engine breathes better, runs harder and sounds so much better. On the stock setting, no smoke at all, on the second setting, no smoke at all, on third setting, a slight haze that clears up immediately. I haven't checked the mileage yet, but I'm confident it will also be improved. Finally, the engine exhaust brake is at least twice as loud. Love it!"
"It took a while to get my ram air and when I called to find out what was going on I got a good explanation and a discount which I appreciated greatly when I received my ram air it was in a box sighed by Gail banks thank you Gail for you responsiveness. beyond the logistics issue I was happy with the product also easy to install and a marked increase in performance"
"High five to gale and his crew this upgrade on my 2013 ram 3500 is a game changer I pull a 10k fifth wheel with zero effort very noticeable throttle response and my engine brake works like a Peterbilt my average fuel usage towing in the hills of New England is almost 16mpg up from 13mpg I highly recommend banks products and look forward to my next addition"
"Banks Ram air is perfect. Can’t wait to get it on. The only thing I was bummed about is the Banks didn’t come colored silver like in the picture it’s all black.🤷🏼♂️"
"I have multiple Banks products on my 18 Ram 3500 DRW. . I can definitely hear a difference now that I installed the Ram Air"
"Great product. Just installed new rear speakers. That was a waste of money! I would rather listen to TURBO now!"
"Not sure if this unit is sold with the clamp at the turbo as pictured but i was surprised that there wasn’t one. Replacement filters are salty. Those of you who choose to oil, buy an extra so one is always ready. I prefer a dry element so i have the pre filter sock on the way to lengthen the filter life between changes. That said, I knew the cost of the filter at purchase and I’m willing to pay it for banks quality. The missing turbo clamp tho…Banks guys, don’t picture it if it’s not included."
"Super easy to install, it definitely lacks securement/alignment on the passenger side, all the holes and everything you have to transfer over was spot on though. The 1 thing that isn't good that I had to replace was the tube for it to meet at the turbo turbine the banks one would not work for me. been installed now for 3 years give or take if it fit like perfection I would have given 5 stars."
