Banks Intercooler addresses a serious shortcoming of stock 1994-1997 Power Strokes: they have no intercooler.

Banks Intercooler system includes mandrel-bent 3" high-flow boost tubes ... large, high-efficiency all-aluminum end tanks ... a wide-open inlet and outlet ... and a thick core area with impressive volume. And because the stock manifold inlet flows more air to one side of the cylinder bank than the other, Banks developed an innovative Twin-Ram manifold inlet assembly that flows air evenly to both sides for smooth, even power delivery. Large boost tubes, thick core area, wide-open inlet/outlet, big aluminum end tanks and Twin-Ram intake manifold flow more cool, dense air for high continuous power.

Techni-Cooler provides the maximum reduction in boost air temperature with a minimal loss of boost pressure. Your engine now gets a continual supply of cool, dense, oxygen-rich air, which improves combustion as well as engine efficiency. Result: higher continuous power and more power at any EGT, better fuel economy and lower EGTs. That's a truckload of benefits! It doesn't get any cooler than Techni-Cooler! Mounting hardware included.

Intercooler, pipes and hardware are

"Intercooler, pipes and hardware are top notch. The instructions are good but include instructions for parts I didn't buy. So you have to sort through that. Maybe printing a new set of instructions would help as well. Some numbers on the parts list are blurry. Just have to take time and sort through the parts 1st. It would be ideal to have just the instructions I need and separate the hardware into single labeled bags. The install is not complicated it just takes time. This is the first one I have ever done so learning curve is a little steep. Overall it is a great kit with great quality."

"It’s a 3 only because my shipment was sent a month after original order was sent and each time I contacted banks they said it’d ship the following Wednesday but it never did. A month later and it finally shipped."

Challenging but worth it.

"Installed on 96 F-250 4wd Time to install was about 40 hrs. however I also upgraded to the 6.7 transmission cooler which requires some bracket fabrication. Good instructions although unless you are a good mechanic this project might challenge your patience. After 1500 miles of use no issues. The engine EGT runs about 200° F cooler under load and stays below 800°F Glad I did it ."

Great looking upgrade & the

"Great looking upgrade & the boost tubes fit better than originals. The install of the crossbar to frame needs to be reviewed. The instructions say to drill four 1/8" holes & attach the brackets with #10 screws provided. If the frame was single thickness that might be fine, but mine was double thickness and the 1st screw head broke off. Not a big problem to fix, I used a 11/64th drill to finish the install. I will be pulling my trailer next week to test the new inner cooler."

Will this work on a 7.3 idi that has your turbo kit?
Yes it will fit 1994-1997 Ford F250/F350 7.3L Power Stroke that have our turbo kit installed.
Does this have bungs for a boost gauge/ water meth ect?
