The Banks Intercooler System includes mandrel-bent 3.5 inch high-flow boost tubes, large high-efficiency all-aluminum end tanks, wide-open 31% bigger inlets and outlets and a 12% thicker core area with a major increase in volume. The Banks Intercooler dramatically increases the cooling capacity by balancing the richer fuel mixture with greater denser airflow. Denser air has more oxygen, which improves combustion as well as engine efficiency.

Result: Higher continuous power at any exhaust gas temp (EGT), better fuel economy and lower EGTs. Banks Interooler delivers the maximum reduction in boost air temperature with a minimal loss of boost pressure. Mounting hardware included.

"I installed this on my 09 6.7 cummins, what a difference. I am very pleased with this upgrade. I was shocked when I opened the box, it was 2x thicker than the OEM cooler. "Huh size does matter " This was a very simple process,and perfect fit. 4 stars rating, First- I think the instructions for instalation could be be better, color,clarity "first time DIY" people.
