Improves heat reduction 31% or more on 2001-2007 and 2011-2019 6.6L Duramax engines. The older the truck, the greater the gain. Ready for pressure or temperature sensor. Includes all necessary hardware and oil filter.

Specifications
At the heart of the new system is GM's 2020 Duramax L5P oil cooler. This cooler rejects heat 22% better at the factory-rated 450 horsepower when tested against the earlier 2017-2019 unit. The difference between the two coolers is even more apparent at higher engine speed and load. 3300 RPM, 600 HP tests show a 31% greater heat reduction over the stock 2017-2019 oil cooler. The higher the horsepower, the greater the improvement.

"The instructions helped greatly with the process needed for 4x4 truck! I put it on my compound turbo 2015 LML. Obviously it’s bigger compared to the stock one on the truck to begin with. But the average time to replace was accurate and I was in the driveway not on a lift. Once I got the old one removed it was much easier to go back together. Temps are great and it’s definitely an upgrade compared to the original."

- CAN YOU RUN THE CATAPILLAR OIL FILTERS ON THIS OIL COOLER?
- Unfortunately Caterpillar and FASS oil filters will not fit due to size constraints.
- For a 2004 lb7, is this a swap for stock or is there manifold modification needed
- Some 2001-2016 Duramax may require minor trimming of the manifold heat shield and heat shield boss
