LLY oil cooler
"Fit great. Quality EVERYTHING! Not a bad job at all! Gained peace of mind on my 380,000 mile ride! Can't weight to get my car hauler hooked up!"
Improves heat reduction 31% or more on 2001-2007 and 2011-2019 6.6L Duramax engines. The older the truck, the greater the gain. Ready for pressure or temperature sensor. Includes all necessary hardware and oil filter.
At the heart of the new system is GM's 2020 Duramax L5P oil cooler. This cooler rejects heat 22% better at the factory-rated 450 horsepower when tested against the earlier 2017-2019 unit. The difference between the two coolers is even more apparent at higher engine speed and load. 3300 RPM, 600 HP tests show a 31% greater heat reduction over the stock 2017-2019 oil cooler. The higher the horsepower, the greater the improvement.
At the factory-rated 450 horsepower output, the upgraded 19-plate cooler rejects heat 22% better compared to earlier 2017-2019 OE 14-plate oil coolers.
Tuned to 600 horsepower with a higher rpm speed and load, the difference between the two coolers is even larger, with 31% greater heat rejection.
Heat rejection gains are even more impressive on older Duramax engines, which use 10 or 11-plate factory coolers from 01-07 or 11-16 models.
These additional cooling plates and improved oil flow increase the available surface area utilized for heat transfer, shedding more BTUs of heat while maintaining proper oil pressure.
Fits all 2001-2007 and 2011-2019 Duramax engines*
Hardware, gaskets, and a Baldwin
B40150 oil filter are included as well as a pre-installed 1/8” NPT port for oil temperature/pressure sensors.
*Due to Enhanced EGR cooling, Kit does not fit late 2007.5-10 LMM Duramax Engines
2001-2007 and 2011-2019 Chevy/GMC 2500/3500 6.6L Duramax

"Item was packaged very well! Fits like a glove and I could not be happier with the communication and the buyers experience from a professional company. Must have upgrad for the LB7 in my opinion if you are already refreshing the engine or experiencing any issues."
"It was an awesome and straight to the point install I’m very happy with this purchase will definitely buy more banks products soon!"
"It wasn’t until I called customer service that I was informed there was a 3-5 day lead time before the item even shipped. It took a week and 2 days by the time I received my package. It would have been nice if that lead time was disclosed on the website. As well not being able to contact customer service without having to set up a call back appointment. Oil cooler was exactly what I needed. Fit and worked well."
"My LML needed rebuild because of a broken crankshaft and bearing failure. This is the prefect replacement oil cooler. I highly recommend it."
"Very tight fit but if you follow installation video on this very simple and I have had it installed on my 06. Lbz for about 3mouths now and it’s doing great"
"I'm very happy with all the products I have purchased from you"
"The instructions helped greatly with the process needed for 4x4 truck! I put it on my compound turbo 2015 LML. Obviously it’s bigger compared to the stock one on the truck to begin with. But the average time to replace was accurate and I was in the driveway not on a lift. Once I got the old one removed it was much easier to go back together. Temps are great and it’s definitely an upgrade compared to the original."
"It's everything I expected and more! Thank you Mr Banks for giving us performance and reliability we can depend on!"
"Friendly and great people to work with. service was timely. . . Thank you, Pacific Ridgeline Forestry"
