PedalMonster cannot be compared to throttle response controllers. It is the only device of its kind to connect to the vehicle's Onboard Diagnostics (OBD) port for data and safe +12v power.

• Uses OBD Parameter IDs (PIDs) to know vehicle speed, gear, and transmission type.
• Automatically determines which PIDs are appropriate for the vehicle when installed, no user input required. Competitors have no clue what they’re connected to.
• Powered by fused +12v from OBD, which prevents check engine lights or dangerous dead pedal situations that occur when power is drawn from the low-overheard +5v pedal circuit used by all competitors.

• Active Safety: Patented failsafe system that will default to stock vehicle torque delivery in the unlikely event of a problem, preventing a dead pedal.
• Reverse Safety: Uses gear position data from the vehicle's computer. Returns to stock torque delivery when backing up to prevent unintended acceleration.
