Nice gauge mount, but encountered a "wart" during
"Really nice pod - perfect for my 2022 Toyota Tacoma. If Banks offered a dual gauge pod for my truck, I would have gotten that instead of this single gauge unit. I run a separate oil pressure gauge because the geniuses at Toyota didn't incorporate that into OBD. The truck only supports an idiot light. Anyway, I found some paint that closely matched the interior of my truck. Prepped the new pod and gave it four light coats of paint. Next day - install. Process is pretty straightforward. Wish I didn't have to cut up the A pillar cover, but it is what it is. Got it all installed. Wired up the iDash Pro and tried seating it in the pod. It wouldn't fully seat. Pulled it all apart. Ah hah! The outside diameter of the washer included with the pod is larger than the recessed space for it inside the pod. As a result, the allen head screw stuck out and interfered with the iDash. Fortunately, I had some small stainless steel washers laying around in my own spare hardware...and i had one that fit. Put it all back together and the iDash fit perfectly inside the pod. Come on Banks...you sent me a washer that didn't fit inside the pod. You can do better than this, especially given the price I paid for the pod. This seemingly trivial oversight frustrated me a lot...leaving a pretty bad aftertaste."
