Stock hot side tube is dented at the factory, bringing it's diameter down to a tiny 2-1/4". Banks boost tubes are 3-1/2" constant diameter mandrel bent with larger radius bends. More air allows for more fuel which means more horsepower.

"Update: I can't figure out how to update my previous 4 star review. A boot ripped while trying to remove it and I could not find a replacement on the web site. (I wanted another banks boot because they are the toughest I've been able to find) I called customer service and they sent me a replacement free of charger. And sent a whole set in case there was an issue with that batch. Yall have earned a customer for life, its hard to find a company that willing to make it right."

"2017 Ram 2500 6. 7 . The boost tube kit is as all the products I have purchased from Banks top tier in design and manufacturing. The installation was challenging. I suggest that the parts be fitted on the bench using a silicone spray or WD 40 as the silicone sleeves are difficult to install on the tube . Pay close attention to the correct clocking of the assembly as making adjustments is not easy due to the sticky nature of the silicone sleeves. Also the lower clamp at the intercooler is a challenge to get positioned. This was installed on the driver side of the vehicle. The removal of the inner fender was not an issue however the installation was a bit more difficult than I expected. That’s how it was for me . I intend to do the passenger side in the future."

- I have the banks monster ram on my 13 ram 2500. The installing the ram it eliminated the grid heater. Is there a heater element that can be installed on the monster ram?
- Yes, a heater coil is available with our emissions-compliant Monster-Ram for on-highway use. The race version of the Monster Ram does not offer a provision for a heater coil, as a heater is not needed in racing applications.
- Will this fit a 5500?
- No, this kit will not fit the 5500 trucks.
- How do I change my oil filter now?
- To change the oil filter, loosen it from the passenger side of the fender well. Then remove the air intake tube and remove the filter from up top.
