OEM replacements for left and right side boost tubes with silicone couplers. With up to 105% greater flow area compared to stock, these better-flowing intercooler tubes result in less boost pressure loss from the turbo to the intake manifold. This results in less work for the turbo, improving engine efficiency and power consistency. 

Fitment Note
This kit is designed to work with the stock intercooler or aftermarket intercooler with stock inlet and outlet size and location.
Specifications

Banks hot and cold side Boost-Tubes have up to 105% greater flow area than stock. Produced from high-quality aluminized steel, the tubes are mandrel bent and a constant 3.5 inch diameter for quicker turbo spool. Better flowing intercooler tubes improve retention of boost pressure (increases density) between turbo, intercooler, and intake resulting in maximum horsepower. Our powder-coat finish stops before the end of the tubes for better grip ensuring our 4- and 5-ply heavy-duty high-temperature silicone couplers hold tight under high-boost conditions. Spring-loaded constant tension clamps maintain a stronger grip to prevent leaks or blown boots.

A must need upgrade.

"I recently purchased these boost tubes after I experienced the hot side blow off from the stock tubes on my 2015 3500 Durmax. If you haven't experienced this, it is just a matter of time. I the Banks upgrade tubes on and they are game changer. My accelration is better and I have noticed an increase in fuel mileage. I have not towed my 35 ft camper yet, but I can already tell it is going to make a difference. I installed the kit myself in my garage using jack stands and it was relatively easy. However I did have to work a little on the hotside inner cooler boot to get it seated correctly."

Installation woes

"Recently purchased the boost tube kit for my 2012 GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax. I reviewed the installation instructions on line and thought about printing it out. However, since it came with printed instructions, I made the conclusion that those instructions would be the most accurate. Wrong. The instructions supplied with the parts instructed to put the new driver side tube in the same location as the original. The original tube came out the top. Per instructions. The new tube could only be inserted from the top in the wrong orientation. Trying to install it (in what I finally determined was the right orientation) was impossible. The hood was in the way. The instructions did not specify to install from top or bottom. Just the same opening. So after several hours removing and rerouting various wires and components, battery , ecm, bending power steering lines, etc. I finally tried from the bottom. Of course with the wrong orientation, it would not fit either. Finally flipping it to the correct orientation it fit easily. From the bottom. Which the online version of the instructions said to do. But not the printed one. Several hours lost trying to install it with the wrong orientation, dismantling items that didn’t need to be, I finally finished the install. Yes, I could immediately feel the difference, I’m happy with the performance. However if the correct instructions been supplied with the product (various silicone tube part numbers didn’t match the instructions as well), and a simple sticker on the driver’s side tube indicating which end connected to the turbo, which end to the inter cooler, would have saved me several hours of frustration. So happy. Not happy."

"I was able to do the passenger side without removing the wheel and wheel well. The Banks people could teach other industries how to make/produce instructions. Very simple to follow. The pipes fit perfectly and do not rub anywhere. No more hot side boost hose popping off. Well don Banks Performance."

2015 LML install.

"Beautiful parts and pieces. However, install video makes it look much easier to install than it is. Found it very difficult to get pipes to plug into the boots. After first sight is inserted. Gonna need lots of muscle and a second pair of hands to help. Otherwise Good quality materials."

Tight fit, worth every penny.

"My stock charge pipes were leaking and I replaced them with these ones. Honestly a night and day difference in throttle response and a smoother power transition from coasting to acceleration. Heads up, its one hell of a tight fit but they will fit, it helped me to also remove the frame that the air filter box sits on to tighten the cold side lower clamps."
