Regardless of where it happens, the result can be the same: a sudden loss of boost pressure and severely reduced engine power. If you’re towing miles from home, a failed charge air pipe can turn your trip into an expensive tow. Upgrade to a set of Banks Boost Tubes today and replace the stock components that could leave you stranded.

  • 2011-2016 Stock Cold-Side: Plastic tube become brittle and cracks.
  • 2017-2026 Stock Cold-Side: Rubber tube bursts under pressure.
  • 2011-2026 Stock Hot-Side: Turbo connection disconnects from turbo outlet.

Banks vs Stock

Banks Boost Tubes are the largest charge air cooler pipes in the industry, measuring in at a full 3.5 inches compared to the factory pipes are only 2.5 inches with crushed bent corners and flimsy plastic components that crack under stress and heat.

By contrast, Banks Boost Tubes are made of high-quality, high-strength 409 stainless steel for maximum strength and durability. With Banks Boost Tubes' smooth bends, your turbo can spool quicker thanks to improved boost pressure retention for maximum horsepower.

Boost Tube Flow Area

Cold Side
Hot Side

Banks Boost-Tubes liberate horsepower at the wheels by improving engine and turbo efficiency. Removing the stock restrictive pipes increases mass airflow by reducing the pressure loss normally found with the stock components.

This denser air allows the engine to maintain horsepower with less fuel, hit the same boost pressure target with less added heat, and, in turn, reject less heat into the engine oil and coolant system.

Boost Tube Pressure Loss Improvements

With denser air and overall lower restriction compared to stock, the Banks Boost-Tubes reduced total system pressure loss by 27.2%, reclaiming a full 1.14 psi of boost pressure in the process.

About This Product

Banks massive 3.5" boost tubes are the largest and strongest intercooler pipes on the market, flowing more air mass than stock! The system replaces the failure-prone OEM plastic and rubber charge pipes that crack or split under pressure, leaving you stranded.

Banks Boost Tubes are built from powder-coated high-strength corrosion resistant steel to withstand high pressure and temperatures. Smooth mandrel-bent tubes deliver more air to your engine while reducing boost pressure loss, resulting in quicker turbo response and better fuel efficiency.

Fitment Note
Does not fit Chassis Cab trucks with an additional breather hose connection on the cold side.
Specifications

The Boost Tubes work with the stock Power Stroke intake components by using proprietary high-strength 5-ply silicone hoses and a billet aluminum venturi adapter for turbo outlet and throttle body connection. These are specially made for the airflow requirements of the 6.7L Power Stroke maintaining boost pressure and volumetric flow.

2012 6. 7l

"Instructions aren’t good for the 2012 with the stock upper intake pipe. Clamp position is difficult in that the upper intake manifold gets in the way with the fuel filter on the other side also. Connect the boot to the pipe on the side with the ring and install all together. Other than that they are very good quality."

"Nice pipes but shipping took over a month to arrive. Should include adapter retainer clips but dont. My clip snapped upon removing old hot side pipes and Ford does not sell them. Had to order after market clip and was dead intye water for another week"
