  • 2011-2026 Stock Hot-Side: Turbo connection disconnects from turbo outlet.

Banks vs Stock

Banks Boost Tubes are the largest charge air cooler pipes in the industry, measuring in at a full 3.5 inches compared to the factory pipes are only 2.5 inches with crushed bent corners and flimsy plastic components that crack under stress and heat.
Cold Side
Hot Side

By contrast, Banks Boost Tubes are made of high-quality, high-strength 409 stainless steel for maximum strength and durability. With Banks Boost Tubes' smooth bends, your turbo can spool quicker thanks to improved boost pressure retention for maximum horsepower.

Boost Tube Flow Area

Cold Side
Hot Side

Banks Boost-Tubes liberate horsepower at the wheels by improving engine and turbo efficiency. Removing the stock restrictive pipes increases mass airflow by reducing the pressure loss normally found with the stock components.

This denser air allows the engine to maintain horsepower with less fuel, hit the same boost pressure target with less added heat, and, in turn, reject less heat into the engine oil and coolant system.

Boost Tube Pressure Loss Improvements

With denser air and overall lower restriction compared to stock, the Banks Boost-Tubes reduced total system pressure loss by 27.2%, reclaiming a full 1.14 psi of boost pressure in the process.

About This Product

Banks massive 3.5" boost tubes are the largest and strongest intercooler pipes on the market, flowing more air mass than stock! The system replaces the failure-prone OEM plastic and rubber charge pipes that crack or split under pressure, leaving you stranded.

Banks Boost Tubes are built from powder-coated high-strength corrosion resistant steel to withstand high pressure and temperatures. Smooth mandrel-bent tubes deliver more air to your engine while reducing boost pressure loss, resulting in quicker turbo response and better fuel efficiency.

Fitment Note
For 6.7L Non High Output Does not fit 2023+ Cab + Chassis trucks with an additional breather hose connection on the cold side.
Specifications

The Boost Tubes work with the stock Power Stroke intake components by using proprietary high-strength 5-ply silicone hoses and a billet aluminum venturi adapters for turbo outlet and throttle body connection. These are specially made for the airflow requirements of the 6.7L Power Stroke maintaining boost pressure and volumetric flow.

Charge Pipes For An Engineer… By An Engineer

"I was very skeptical about which charge pipe system I would purchase. However, with having previous vehicles with Banks ancillary equipment installed, I knew the only choice was to get a banks charge pipe system for my 2021 F250 diesel. From watching YouTube videos about the various system set ups that banks offers to reviewing all of the actual data about those products, the choice to go with banks for all of my throttle and power part assemblies was simple and easy. I have way more torque and throttle response. And I also was able to alleviate my turbo lag by introducing this charge pipe system."

Does what it says no bs

"Install Review- Install was pretty tedious even following the instructions. I had to watch a youtube cidoe to figure it out. Mainly because the tubes don't just pop off nicely and without knowing little tricks to make it easier it was a tough time. The clip holding the stock coupler on was also different than in the instructions but was easy once I understood the principle behind it. Getting everything to line up on the cool side was rather time consuming and difficult especially with the power steering resevoir. It is just so in the way even after unbolting I just put it back on. Also the instructions say to loosen the 11mm bolt clamp on the stock tube that is just nonsense it is a 7mm. Also you need to be careful where you position the new hose clamps or the bolts will want to dig into stuff. The clamps are top notch though. Now for the review of the tubes themselves. Fit and function- Looks like it belongs there, awesome. Fits like a glove. There was a nick on the paint despite the awesome packaging but I quickly scratched the cold tube even worse on my own getting it in there. Oh well. Performance- it is just as good as Banks claims. Slightly better louder sound. But the throttle response is unbelievable. I would say going by feel it cut the turbp lag on half. This is all I have done to the truck so far. Before it would wait to spool up and I was annoyed when I put my foot into it. Now I can spin the tire if I want. Night and day difference. I compared some other popular aftermarket tubes and noticed just how much more drag they created than the Banks. Sure they were better than stock but Banks just gets it right. The truck sounds pissed off and I love it. I got the ram air on the way and already have the monster exhaust sitting in my garage waiting for me to install it. I am going to buy every Banks product I can going forward."

Al (5/5)

Fits perfect and gets rid of factory issues.

"The pipes fit perfectly along with the boots, the lower elbow does have a slight crease when installed, but doesn't cause a concern of collapsing since it's pressurized. It was harder to take the OEM off than putting the Banks on."

Quality Products at a reasonable price!

"High quality parts, great installation instructions supported a super easy installation. Notable improvement in throttle response. Very pleased with this product and highly recommend Banks Engineering for all diesel aftermarket mods!"

Paul S. (5/5)

Improved response and look amazing

"Beautiful set of boost tubes. The bright powder coating really made the engine bay pop. More importantly, I’ve noticed a substantial amount of improvement in my throttle response and also the boost it builds. With my old setup, it rarely would make more than 25 pounds of boost, this set of tubes make it shoot up to 30 pounds in less time. Peace of mind not worrying about the plastic cold side pipe."

Max (5/5)

Great kit, awesome turbo response

"I got this with the monster exhaust and ram air intake, plus the pedal monster. What a difference the combo made in performance. ! The turbo response in unbelievable. Due to most of the parts being on backorder, I got to experience the parts one by one. Exhaust- not sure I noticed much, but when I start towing, I’m looking for flow and less heat. Pedal monster is an instant game changer in sport mode especially. Boost tubes took it up another notch and when I got the intake on, it wants to break loose at 50+ mph. Amazing combo!"

GEORGE I. (5/5)

New hot & cold side boost tubes

"I just installed the Banks hot & cold side boost tubes. The quality of the components is excellent, and everything was received in good condition. These complement my previously installed Banks Ram-Air intake and Monster exhaust system."

David F. (5/5)

No leaks

"My engine is stock other than this, so I can't tell the differences far as engine performance, but knowing that the parts were switched from rubber which, at a one and a half inch rip in it to steel. Thats a good peace of mind."

Jason L. (5/5)

Easy install & gained mpg

"All in all it’s about as easy as it looks to install. Had my 14 year old son help and it took us about 3 hours. (Double your time when you have kids help, haha) Sounds “throatier” and gained some mpg too."

Shawn K. (5/5)

Very High Quality

"No complaints, super high quality, went in super easy and bolted up nice and tight. Now I can stop worrying about it."

Cari S. (5/5)

Q&A
