Regardless of where it happens, the result can be the same: a sudden loss of boost pressure and severely reduced engine power. If you’re towing miles from home, a failed charge air pipe can turn your trip into an expensive tow. Upgrade to a set of Banks Boost Tubes today and replace the stock components that could leave you stranded.

  • 2011-2016 Stock Cold-Side: Plastic tube become brittle and cracks.
  • 2017-2026 Stock Cold-Side: Rubber tube bursts under pressure.
  • 2011-2026 Stock Hot-Side: Turbo connection disconnects from turbo outlet.

Banks vs Stock

Banks Boost Tubes are the largest charge air cooler pipes in the industry, measuring in at a full 3.5 inches compared to the factory pipes are only 2.5 inches with crushed bent corners and flimsy plastic components that crack under stress and heat.

By contrast, Banks Boost Tubes are made of high-quality, high-strength 409 stainless steel for maximum strength and durability. With Banks Boost Tubes' smooth bends, your turbo can spool quicker thanks to improved boost pressure retention for maximum horsepower.

Boost Tube Flow Area

Cold Side
Hot Side

Banks Boost-Tubes liberate horsepower at the wheels by improving engine and turbo efficiency. Removing the stock restrictive pipes increases mass airflow by reducing the pressure loss normally found with the stock components.

This denser air allows the engine to maintain horsepower with less fuel, hit the same boost pressure target with less added heat, and, in turn, reject less heat into the engine oil and coolant system.

Boost Tube Pressure Loss Improvements

With denser air and overall lower restriction compared to stock, the Banks Boost-Tubes reduced total system pressure loss by 27.2%, reclaiming a full 1.14 psi of boost pressure in the process.

About This Product

Banks massive 3.5" boost tubes are the largest and strongest intercooler pipes on the market, flowing more air mass than stock! The system replaces the failure-prone OEM plastic and rubber charge pipes that crack or split under pressure, leaving you stranded.

Banks Boost Tubes are built from powder-coated high-strength corrosion resistant steel to withstand high pressure and temperatures. Smooth mandrel-bent tubes deliver more air to your engine while reducing boost pressure loss, resulting in quicker turbo response and better fuel efficiency.

Clear your throat with a cannon

"2 hours is about right in the install time and the video was great. These tubes feel like they’re bent from the cannon off an M1 Abram. Solid, slick, and really feel like it’s cleared the throat on my turbo. 23’ 6. 7l HO is loving these new set of pipes."

Works

"Install is not terrible seems to work good can tell a little faster spool and seems well built"

Phillip L. (4/5)

"First appearance is perfect. I haven’t put them on yet im waiting on other parts but im sure they will work exactly how they look. Amazing"

Christopher (5/5)

Rapid Spool

"I did my test run and the turbo spool time is definitely, and noticeably reduced with these tubes. Be careful with the placement of the clamps and enjoy. . . . . I sure am!"

Chris T. (5/5)

6. 7 PS HO CAC Pipes!

"Just put both hot and cold CAC pipes on. Install was straightforward and easy. Just make sure the clamps are in front of the bead and gripping where there is no paint. Otherwise you have to cinch the clamps so tight you may run out of thread on the nut. Too early to tell for sure on performance but throttle response does seem to be improved and turbo spool also seems to be improved. I have noticed that EGT11 sensor temps are down by about 80 degrees Freedom under general highway driving. Overall, I am very pleased with the pipes and definitely recommend them. I replaced the Sinister cold side pipe with Banks and could tell the fit on the TB was tighter which means no oil passing by the O ring."

Q&A

Will my 25 HO require tuning for these charge pipes?
Our boost tube kits will work right out of the box, but a tune never hurts.
