"Definitely recommend this CAI. My Denali has 162k miles and I can feel better response from her in the higher RPMs. MPG average went up to 17mpg highway driving at one point. Just a word of advice. You’ll need to rotate your mass airflow sensor where the connector is at the 3 o’clock position for the hood to close"

"Well-made, quality part. Looks really good under the hood. Installation was very easy. It came with instructions, but I barely even glanced at them. After having an oiled filter from another well-known brand for a few years, I decided to go with the dry media air filter for the Banks Ram-Air unit and it looks like a quality part. Still a washable filter, but without the hassle of having to oil it. Well made, easy install, and looks great! Two thumbs up from me! The only regret for me is that they no longer make the Super-Scoop for it. I've even called or emailed about two dozen resellers hoping one of them would still have one on the shelf, but no luck. Hey, Banks - Bring back the Super-Scoop!"

Hi, I was just wondering what makes this intake not compatible with the 2500s 6.0 vortec. Are there parts that don't fit into that engine compartment or is it something emissions related? thank you.
It's a combo of a fitment difference and the fact the intake is certified for the 1500 trucks.
