Gen 2 F150 Raptor Intake Review
"It’s fine. I wasn’t expecting and power gains and cannot imagine there were any. Thought I would maybe get a little more intake sound but do notice any difference from stock. I really bought this to hopefully get a slight MPG increase, time will tell on that. It looks good other than the arrow design on the intake tube. I think it would look great without that. When they say do not overtighten the screws on that clear plastic intake window, they mean it. I do not believe I overtightened it by any means and after the first trip around the block the plastic was cracked in two corners. Put the Loctite on and just barely snug up those screws. Overall if I get any kind of MPG gain I will be satisfied."

"The Ram-Air intake system is great! It has increased the throttle response of my 3. 5 Ecoboost and allows it to run much cooler. It has add a little more performance sound which is cool and it just simply looks bad ass when you pop the hood!"

"Compared to stock, this thing is huge! The snorkel and turbo intake tube has smooth radiuses for amazing flow and less turbulence. Banks intakes are top shelf when it comes to increased volume and flow rate. I wish they would make an intake for my 2015 Fiesta ST.. the fiesta guys would love them! Looks killer"

"Went in as per instructions and fit very well, it was what I was looking for and works very well. Installation was very easy. Would recommend this to any one. Fuel mileage increase was very noticeable."
WELL WORTH THE EFFORT!!!
"install is easy, the only gripe is the little gromite that comes out of the stock unit to attach the intake box to the fender, it just kinda "sits" there (unless i screwed something up....) but other than that it fit perfectly and makes a very noticable difference in how the truck responds!! havent had it long enough to gauge the difference in fuel economy yet but you can feel the difference when the pedel is pushed!!! one other thing that isnt banks fault at all: perhaps they could offer a "Canadian" discount or start a wearhouse north of the boarder because with exchange, shipping & customs fees its a SIGNIFIGENT price jump to purchase anything that wont fit in a envlope from south of the boarder!!! i must perfer the made in north america stuff over chinese made! but the cost of that becuase of our exchange etc makes it difficult. If you can afford it though it is WELL worth the purchase!! (high flow intercooler with larger charge pipe would have been my next choice to upgrade)"

"Added this to my 16 EcoBoost and instantly felt better throttle response. Hard to tell if any MPG gains, because I have a heavy foot, but towing our camper could tell there was a power increase. I added the Idash and the Derringer and WOW. Banks really did their homework. These two together really wake up the EcoBoost."
