Derringer offers 6 power levels adjustable on-the-fly. Interfaces with OBD-II (On-Board Diagnostics) to communicate with the vehicle's ECM. AutoRate uses vehicle data to adjust tune in real-time. ActiveSafety protects engine/powertrain. TransCommand protects transmission. For use with existing iDash DataMonster or iDash Super Gauge.  Monitor engine and trans functions and control Derringer with iDash DataMonster or SuperGauge. The iDash displays data your dashboard doesn't and log up to 100 parameters for hundreds of hours.

Q&A

Will the derringer for the 2012 Ford 6.7L work with the iDash Pro? I don’t want to use it with the obsolete IDash super gauge.
Brian, currently, the iDash Pro will not control the Derringer for this application. The iDash SuperGauge and DataMonster are still supported products and will provide all the data and functionality Ford owners expect.
I have been considering this tuner for my 2013 6.7 powerstroke. As you know the turbo on this year truck was prone to over spool when tuned by other aftermarket tuners. Does the derringer tuner prevent that from happening? I have been very hesitant to put a tuner on my truck for this very reason. Also what are the power gains with the 2011-2014 6.7 powerstroke? I current have the banks cold air intake. Thanks

If it detects an issue, Derringer instantly bypasses itself, sets a device diagnostic code, and seamlessly returns the truck to stock power. I have had my 6.7 Powerstroke Derringer tuner and iDash for some time. First in my 2014 F250 then in my 2018 F350 (same unit). I recently purchased a 2022 F250 6.7 power stroke, Will you all be able to refresh or re-flash an older user for the 20202-2022?

Gabe, we are working on two inline tuners, one for the 2020-2022 and one for the 2023-2024 as they require different calibrations. Signing up for this one is fine. We will notify all 2020-2024 owners when they're available.

The Derringer was designed to deliver power when you need it. It was not designed to increase fuel economy. Therefore, we do not advertise fuel economy gains. Fuel economy depends on many variables including how you drive. Unlike other tuners that are guaranteed to reduce fuel economy because they add fuel only, Derringer maintains proper air-fuel ratio by matching boost air to added fuel. Inline tuners that claim to increase fuel economy are selling snake oil.
