Banks Monster muffler, its straight-through performance muffler, is the industry's least restrictive. In comparison tests, Banks muffler flowed 543.2 cfm at 1 psi - a 108% improvement over the stock exhaust's 260.0 cfm. 2001 xj exhaust upgrade

"Extremely pleased with the product, packaging and how easy the installation process was. Unfortunately my experience with the shipping of the product after purchase, certainly left room for improvements. I ordered on the 6th of October, got my confirmation of order but no shipping/tracking info. I waited until the 19th to call customer service, was told by weeks end it would be processed, shipping/tracking provided and hopefully on the truck for shipment. 0ctober, 26 I call again, as still no information past the order # had been provided to me. I was then emailed my tracking # but advised to wait until after 5 pm to check that # to ensure it is processed. To my surprise, once I checked later that evening, fed ex information claimed the package had infact been processed and was in route since the previous Friday and then showed up 2 days later to my residence. Hopefully this helps clear up any crossed wires,blown fuses or loose grounds in your shipping department."

Amazing sound

"The muffler has an amazing sound to it. Cold starts sound soooo much better than stock did. I installed mine without the provided tail pipes, so my drone is really bad in the cabin, but I prefer no tail pipes. I would highly recommend this product to a friend or family member."

Great quality and fit. A bit loud for a daily driver

"Installation and quality were spot on. My only complaint would be it’s a little loud for a daily driver. Has a drone around the 3k range before it up shifts. At driving speeds there’s not much of a drone. On a 2001 Jeep Cherokee."

"Beautiful sound. It has a deep bass note, throaty, with no harshness, crackle or drone. It's not loud at all as I can still hear my noisy 4.0 valvetrain rattle away just like with stock exhaust. It just has a deep bass note that doesn't interfere with anything like talking or music. I have shackle relocation brackets so I had to cut the downturn off the end, get it stretched to fit back over itself, and move it back from the brackets a wee bit. No big deal. I haven't noticed any power gains but I still need to swap my intake and downpipe so I probably won't notice anything until they're all done. Anyway, great product, nice thick wall pipe, excellent sound, and very minor cutting to get it to fit. It's just right."
