3-inch mandrel-bent high flow boost tubes. Eliminates restrictions for an 18% increase in flow, dramatically increasing the cooling capacity for massive continuous power; big aluminum end tanks won't burst like the plastic stock ones.

Banks Techni-Cooler Intercooler system includes mandrel-bent  3"  high-flow boost tubes ... large, high-efficiency all-aluminum end tanks instead of the wimpy stock plastic ones that can rupture under high-boost conditions ... a high-flow inlet that distributes air evenly across the intercooler for an  18%  increase in flow and more effective cooling ... a wide-open outlet ... and a thicker core area with impressive volume.

Techni-Cooler provides the maximum reduction in boost air temperature with a minimal loss of boost pressure. Cooling the air makes it denser and more oxygen rich, improving combustion and engine efficiency. Result: higher continuous power and more power at any exhaust gas temp (EGT), better fuel economy and lower EGTs. What could be cooler than that? Mounting hardware included.

Worth every penny!!

"Quality built!! Intercooler tubes are thick, and it reduce in cab engine noise. Saw a 200 degree drop in egt’s under all running conditions. Very good instructions that give you all the details. I wished that the also made a ram air intake for the obs trucks cause I would buy it as well. Also saw about a 1mpg increase in fuel economy since the install and I live and work between 6500ft-8500ft. I bet it would be better at sea level."

Intercooler, pipes and hardware are

"Intercooler, pipes and hardware are top notch. The instructions are good but include instructions for parts I didn't buy. So you have to sort through that. Maybe printing a new set of instructions would help as well. Some numbers on the parts list are blurry. Just have to take time and sort through the parts 1st. It would be ideal to have just the instructions I need and separate the hardware into single labeled bags. The install is not complicated it just takes time. This is the first one I have ever done so learning curve is a little steep. Overall it is a great kit with great quality."

Challenging but worth it.

"Installed on 96 F-250 4wd Time to install was about 40 hrs. however I also upgraded to the 6.7 transmission cooler which requires some bracket fabrication. Good instructions although unless you are a good mechanic this project might challenge your patience. After 1500 miles of use no issues. The engine EGT runs about 200° F cooler under load and stays below 800°F Glad I did it ."

7.3 banks inter Cooler

"I’ve never put one in before and it wasn’t bad didn’t have to read the instructions too much just because banks did such a great job with the pictures and info on it and it works great with my afe blade runner gt 2 turbo and hydra php tuner and great job on the red powder coating on it. It was pretty tight on each side of the radiator but still fit great banks has been in the game sence the beginning for a reason you can never go wrong with there products ! Egt’s are 300 lower than stock !"
