"I’m extremely pleased with the Banks Pedal Monster! Our Duramax has tons of power, but off the line was very slow or you had to mash the pedal to get it to go. Now with the Pedal Monster installed and at setting 6/10 on the sport mode, this drives like our Silverado 1500 5. 3 gasser but with tons more power. No more feeling like there’s no power driving in the city. Also towing and highway it’s much more responsive."

"I bought this back in 10/2025. Gave it a good 7 months before I decided to write a review. This is absolutely a game changer for my 16 Tacoma TRD Offroad with just 69K miles. This thing makes my daily drive so much more pleasurable. I didn't think it was that bad before considering I had the factory transmission updates. But many, it more responsive and irritant free. It just picks up and go compared to factory. Until you have this and try it, you won't know what you are missing. This is absolutely a must have upgrade if you enjoy driving. So far, no issues or glitches. Love it!"

"The PedalMonster and iDash combo are an absolute MUST. Just installed on my 2026 Jeep Gladiator Willys along with the lower Stealth Pod as the first thing I did after taking delivery of the truck. The 3. 6 feels like a boat anchor and adding the PedalMonster gives it the throttle response needed, really wakes the thing up without adding any power. This is now the 5th vehicle I’ve had this combo on and has always been the very first thing done to those vehicles. Get this, you won’t be disappointed."

Q&A

Bank’s customer service I have an after market radio in my 2017 jeep jk that is plugged into the OBD2 port For steering wheel controls an other functions. If I use a splitter would I be able to use Pedal Monster simultaneously? This could be a determining factor when purchasing.
Hey thanks for contacting us, you could use a Universal OBD2 splitter, however the devices may compete over OBD2 communication, if that happens you would need to set the PedalMonster to No OBD mode. When set in No OBD mode, Reverse safety is no longer available.
I have a 2023 Ram 1500 5.7 with E-torque. Question is how does it work with the start/stop function of E-torque? Does it automatically disable it or do I need to manually disable it each time I drive it?
PedalMonster works seamlessly with E-Torque and auto-stop start systems. When your truck engine stops, the electronics remain active, so does PedalMonster. There is no need to do anything. If when you shut off the engine and vehicle completely, PedalMonster retains its last setting. The mobile app is only necessary if and when you want to change a setting.
So if you have a sport mode already do you put both the vehicle and pedal monster in sport mode or just the pedal monster in sport mode ? 2017 jeep srt thanks !
PedalMonster will stack with any driving mode that you select. One does not supersede the other.

"The PedalMonster and iDash combo are an absolute MUST. Just installed on my 2026 Jeep Gladiator Willys along with the lower Stealth Pod as the first thing I did after taking delivery of the truck. The 3. 6 feels like a boat anchor and adding the PedalMonster gives it the throttle response needed, really wakes the thing up without adding any power. This is now the 5th vehicle I’ve had this combo on and has always been the very first thing done to those vehicles. Get this, you won’t be disappointed."

Bank’s customer service I have an after market radio in my 2017 jeep jk that is plugged into the OBD2 port For steering wheel controls an other functions. If I use a splitter would I be able to use Pedal Monster simultaneously? This could be a determining factor when purchasing.
Hey thanks for contacting us, you could use a Universal OBD2 splitter, however the devices may compete over OBD2 communication, if that happens you would need to set the PedalMonster to No OBD mode. When set in No OBD mode, Reverse safety is no longer available.
I have a 2023 Ram 1500 5.7 with E-torque. Question is how does it work with the start/stop function of E-torque? Does it automatically disable it or do I need to manually disable it each time I drive it?
PedalMonster works seamlessly with E-Torque and auto-stop start systems. When your truck engine stops, the electronics remain active, so does PedalMonster. There is no need to do anything. If when you shut off the engine and vehicle completely, PedalMonster retains its last setting. The mobile app is only necessary if and when you want to change a setting.

"I’m extremely pleased with the Banks Pedal Monster! Our Duramax has tons of power, but off the line was very slow or you had to mash the pedal to get it to go. Now with the Pedal Monster installed and at setting 6/10 on the sport mode, this drives like our Silverado 1500 5. 3 gasser but with tons more power. No more feeling like there’s no power driving in the city. Also towing and highway it’s much more responsive."
