Like a new truck

"I purchased the AutoMind II programmer and Banks BigHead wastegate actuator to improve the towing performance of my 2002 Ford F-250 pickup with 7.3 L diesel and 267,000 miles. I wasn't quite ready for the massive improvement. It used to lay down on long hills towing my 7500 lb trailer but now it has a lot more guts. When not towing I switch to the "Economy" tune. Even in Economy it runs much better than it ever did before. It's like a new truck!"

Excellent product. I had this

"Excellent product. I had this a few years ago and liked it then, but a rodent chewed wires under the intake and shorted out almost all sensors and ECM. It cost $9,600. 00 to repair the damage and the Automind program could not be retrieved. Glad to have it back, great throttle response! It's amazing the difference in power!"

"So far, I love it. The original shift points were placed in a bad way and it was usally hunting for overdrive on the freeway. Economy does help the mileage a bit but I usually keep on Sport 87. Really has some get up and go now. Haven't tried Super Sport 91 yet but that's my next goal. 1999 F150 SuperCab 8ft bed, 4.6L V8."

Old 7. 3 drives much better

"Happy with the performance of each tune. So much more response in daily driving. No more feeling like I have to push the pedal to the floor for the truck to go. Shifts sooner and will stay in gear without downshifting at slightest application of throttle like when stock. No smoke. Only thing I wish I could do was increase the shift firmness a little more. Unfortunately it does not give me that option for my truck. It says it does in the book but there is no options when I try to customize the tune other than tire size and gear ratio. I even updated the tool to make sure everything was in there. I had a Diablosport that let me change it but this does not. Must have something to do with my truck being an early 1999 F250 7. 3L Powerstroke and the Banks programming. It also only reads a couple of data PID's. There again I think due to the early 99."

2000 F250 7. 3 ZF6 AutoMind 2

"My 2000 F250 7. 3 ZF6 was only rated at 230HP from the factory. I was looking for something to add a little bit of power, I just wanted something to get it close to the 275HP that the last year model of the 7. 3 produced. I have also never liked how the throttle pedal behaved from the factory. I decided on the Banks AutoMind 2 because of Banks reputation and quality of products, I have some of their products on my other truck. I have only tried the Tow/Work tune so far and it has given me exactly what I was looking for. It gave me enough power that the truck feels lighter, faster, and more responsive. It seems to have improved the behavior of the throttle pedal too. It will smoke a little more than I expected from a banks tune (especially just the tow/work level) under certain conditions, but if you are very smooth with the throttle it will run clean and performs very well. If you want to wake up your 7. 3 I would highly recommend."

"The banks automind 2 programer and banks cold air intake woke up the old 7. 3. The truck runs and shifts a lot smoother. I’m able to pull my 14 foot dump trailer with ease fully loaded and the truck even idles better. I’m extremely happy with my purchase."

Great Product

"Automind2 review. 2016 F-350 Platinum 6. 7. Easy install, about 20 Minutes total. I have noticed already a mileage improvement of 3 mpg city, and 5 mpg highway in economy mode. Initially the first Automind I received was faulty. The RMA was very smooth and fast. My hat is off to the support team, Thank You."
