"When I bought my 2018 GMC L5P Duramax it already had a Banks Ram Air Intake on it. And the truck was already pretty impressive. But I’m one of those guy’s that is always looking for a little bit more. Although I don’t do a lot of heavy towing with my truck I am always looking to have that little extra edge on someone else. And with the Bank’s Derringer and Pedal Monster I definitely have that. The truck is soooo much quicker and definitely feels like it has more horsepower. Which I have no real way of measuring but fully believe all the data from Bank’s dyno testing. I had been on the fence for a while trying to decide whether or not I wanted to spend more money on a truck that is already at a high price point to start. I even went as far as actually wasting money on cheaper OBDII tuners and throttle enhancing products which had now way of actually monitoring what was going on with the trucks engine and transmission but seemed better than stock. But once I decided to buy the Derringer with the iDash Data monster gauge and peddle monster and installed it I could tell the difference immediately between it and the competitor’s. The Derringer is the real deal for sure!!!! Set up was pretty easy although there weren’t a lot of directions for installing or operating it, Banks has a wealth of information on the internet about it and if you scan the QR codes with a smartphone you’ll get all the direction you should need. And the best thing is you can get an inspection sticker on it tomorrow if needed. So far I have been very satisfied with my purchase and the only regret I have is not buying it from the very beginning instead of throwing money away on products that can’t even compare to the Derringer set up not even close!!!!!! So if you’re anything like me and your trying to decide on a tuner that will still keep you truck legal and has so much safety monitoring for you engine and transmission then just buy the Banks Derringer and be done with it!!!!! In my opinion it’s definitely worth it!!!!!! Thank you to the entire Bank’s team for putting out such a good quality product!!!! Because in today’s world that’s not always easy to find!!!"
