Monster Exhaust
Monster Size

The factory RAM exhaust uses several different sizes of pipe that are MIG welded together. This mismatch of pipe sizing and abrupt bends adds resistance to the exhaust system.

By comparison, the Banks 5in Monster-Exhaust system is mandrel bent with a smooth constant inner diameter. Exhaust gas scavenging is maintained from the tip through the DPF outlet.

Drop The Pressure

Banks patented negative back-pressure tip virtually eliminates back-pressure after the DPF. With a side-draft rocket nozzle-like tip, exhaust gasses are literally sucked out of the end of the exhaust.

With pressure sensors installed, this negative exhaust pressure resulted in an impressive 9% reduction all the way back to the turbine inlet.

A Monster for Your Dually

Dual-Rear-Wheel trucks are just a little different. Our engineering teams noticed this while developing the DRW variant of the Monster Exhaust.

Banks Power, Monster Exhaust

A reworked tube shape for proper clearance and fitment was needed to clear rear suspension components and fender extensions, given the monstrous 5" tube diameter .

Banks Power, Monster Exhaust

The patented obround Side-Kick tip is designed to eject hot exhaust gases out to the side and away from the vehicle.

Banks Power, Monster Exhaust, DRW Test Vehicle

With a 1" Air Gap around the tip, your exhaust won't damage or melt your bumper or trailer while still looking great even from far away.
